New York Fashion Week is one of the largest fashion events in the world and drag and trans artists were front and center last week.
Marco Morante’s brand, Marco Marco, broke the Guinness World Record for the most attendees at a fashion show with 2,683 attendees. The models for the show was stacked with talent including:
- Aurora Sexton in a black mini skirt, corset, and long sleeves which have long black feathers jutting out and a purple fabric on her chest that matches the space-like pom pom-antennas coming out of her wig.
- Ryan Burke’s skirt is the moon and the top half of the bodice is a structured black see-through fabric and of course Burke’s makeup is out of this world with metal swirls and patterns.
- Manila Luzon is wearing a mini-skirt with green and black tulle that creates the image of an alien on top of a black vinyl fabric. She also has on black and white vertical striped thigh high vinyl boots, and her long, twisted pink nails adds to my favorite look from the collection.
- Brooke Lynn Hytes is wearing a feather-scale gold mini-dress with horns curving downwards out of her hips.
- Milk is in almost the same dress as Brooke Lynn but she is wearing butterfly scales in silver and her hips jut out horizontally.
- Xunami Muse is wearing a metallic blue-silver skirt and chest piece with a yellow and red fabric on her bodice.
- Luxx Noir London is in a black and white striped mini-skirt with white thigh high socks with two black stripes at the top, a large gathered black and white flannel sleeve-hoodie, and a very tiny halter top that basically only covers her nipples.
- Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 is wearing a black and silver moon saucer on her midsection and her breast covers are just peeking out from under the moon.
- Willam Belli looks like Lady Gaga at the 2017 Super Bowl with a sparkly blue and purple bodysuit with ribbing and shoulder pads that makes her look part robotic and part superhero.
- Kylie Sonique Love is in a muted, metallic trans flag colored body suit primarily in structured pink with accents of metallic blue along with nude colored vinyl fingerless gloves that reach just below her shoulders.
- Dominique Jackson is in an all gold look with a gold skirt and embellished bodice that leads up to a flat saucer structure by her breasts.
- Rhea Litre is in a turtle neck black and dark silver sparkle bodysuit with upward horn breasts and ribbed hips along with a light neon green wig.
- TS Madison is in a hooded coat-dress with massive rainbow colored and purple bag- shaped layers and a simple purple fabric in the back.
- Raja is wearing an asymmetrical gold and iridescent skirt with a futuristic ribbed bodice and shoulders and a massive, layered gold fabric behind her.
- Carmen Carrera is in a cat suit that reveals a lot of skin and has black and iridescent lines covering her private parts and extenuating her figure.
Jaida Essence Hall walked for Cucculelli Shaheen in a stunning warm orange to maroon gradient dress covered in spaced out long silver fringe that moves as beautifully as how she walks down the outdoor runway. There are cut outs underneath her breasts that lead to her back to show off Jaida’s body just a little but honestly all the attention is on her stunning face.
Jasmine Kennedie came back home to walk in the Breeoriginal fashion show. She is wearing a dress made out of layered light green to sky blue gradient sequin fabric with black borders that makes Jasmine look like Tinker Bell. She has on a healthy amount of blush and of course her face is beautiful.
Trans icon, Dominique Jackson, was in a second fashion show walking for THE BLONDS. She was wearing a disco ball bodysuit exposing most of her hips along with a deep V neck that hits just above her belly button. She also has on a shiny and sheer black coat with black feathers on her collar.
The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15, Sasha Colby, was front row at the Coach fashion show while looking perfect as usual in a sheer mint green dress with a four leaf clover Coach bag to match. She has selfies alongside the Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, and the creative director of Coach, Stuart Vevers.
Sasha was also present for Christian Siriano’s show for the 15 year anniversary of his brand. She was front row wearing a hooded black velvet Christian Siriano dress covered in silver stones along with a large slit on her left leg. Lavern Cox was also next to Sasha in a photo with the designer.
Sasha Colby was busy this fashion week because she was also at the Luar show in a massive grey fur coach just covering her lady parts and behind. Vogue also wrote a story about Sasha getting ready for the VIP event.
Fellow season 15 competitor Luxx Noir London was front row at the Retrofête show wearing a sheer, silver lace long sleeve column Retrofête dress with a silver fur trim on the bottom.
